Every faculty and staff member has access to OneDrive for Business. OneDrive is part of the Office 365 suite of products, and provides convenient file storage, sharing, and collaboration, along with all other traditional functionality of SharePoint. Any faculty or staff member may request a SharePoint site collection. To do so, you will need to fill out and print the request form, have it signed by your dean, director, or department head, and fax it to the OIT Helpdesk. You will need to decide which server your collection will be hosted on (See technical specs for details and select a URL. You will also need to specify a Site Collection Administrator (SCA) who has the highest level of control over the collection (additional SCAs can be added after the site is created), and a site owner (can be the same as the SCA).
